This kit is designed to teach trainees how Lithium-ion battery packs are constructed, managed, and monitored. Focus is placed on the vital role of the Battery Management System (BMS) in safety, cell balancing, overcharge protection, and temperature regulation.
Key Features:
Exposed Cell Battery Pack: A 14.4V Lithium-ion cylindrical rechargeable battery pack is partially cut open to reveal the exact 18650 cell arrangement, nickel busbar connections, wiring, and insulation.
Exposed & Interactive BMS: The system integrates a green 4S 30A (or custom-configured) Battery Management System (BMS) with fully visible circuits, IC chips, and balancing resistors, illustrating real-world pack protection methods.
Breakout Diagnostic Terminal Board: Fully labeled, color-coded diagnostic jacks (such as Cell 1-4, P+, P-, B+, B-) are routed outside the transparent acrylic case, allowing trainees to utilize multimeter probes to analyze pack voltages and cell balancing without puncturing safety barriers.
Multi-Metric Base Display: High-contrast digital screen directly below the training unit monitors real-time specs: Voltage, Current, total Capacity (mAh), temperature (Temp °C), and individual Cell Balance health status (e.g., “CELL BALANCE: OK”).
